Abstract
The dysfunction of cellular immunity is a significant cause of the high complication incidence during the perioperative stage of obstructive jaundice patients. Through reviewing the research data in the past 20 years, we try to analyze mechanisms of cellular immune dysfunction during this stage and consider that it is correlated with bilirubin toxicity, bile acid toxicity, endotoxemia, primary disease, operation and anesthesia.
