    Abstract

    AIM: To explore the changes of the proliferation and migration ability of hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) induced by angiotensin Ⅱ (ANGⅡ).

    METHODS: HSCs were incubated in vitro. The proliferation and migration ability of HSCs induced by ANGⅡ at different concentration were observed with MTT assay and Transwell chamber assay, respectively.

    RESULTS: The proliferation of HSCs was significantly increased when ANGⅡ was used at the concentrations of 1, 2, 4, 8 and 10 μmol/L in comparison with that in the control cells (F = 2 ......
