如结核分支杆菌，不管CD4+计数高低均能致病，并随CD4+计数下降而发病率增高，一些毒力较低的病原体，则在宿主免疫功能明显下降CD4+明显下降才致病如CD4+1cm)；(6)卡波济肉瘤或不明原因的中枢神经感染，痴呆，脊髓病，末梢神经病变；(7)反复出现严重的泌尿生殖器念珠菌感染，或单纯疱疹(口腔、泌尿生殖器)；(8)高热而血白细胞数不高伴贫血。对上述特定患者应及时检查血清抗HIV抗体，一次阴性不能除外艾滋病诊断，应检查3次以上。
