Abstract
AIM To reveal the changes of laminin and desmin positive cells and their correlations in rat liver with experimental cirrhosis.
METHODS Experimental cirrhosis in rats was induced by carbon te trachloride and dietetic injury. Rats were sacrificed at different stages during the development of liver fibrosis. The contents of collagen in the liver were determined and the changes of laminin and desmin positive cells in liver were obs erved by immunohistochemical and electron-microscopic technique. Normal rats we re used as the controls. ......
