Expressions of nm23H1, p53 and PCNA in human colorectal carcinoma tissues

Abstract
AIM To study the relationship between the expressions of nm23H1, p53, PCNA and invasion and metastasis of human colorectal carcinomas.
METHODS By using LSAB immunohistochemical methods, the expressions of nm23H1, p53, PCNA and type Ⅳ collagen in 74 cases of human colorectal carcinoma was studied.
RESULTS The positive rates of expressions for nm23-H1, P53 and PCNA were 71.6%, 52.7% and 81.8%, respectively. A significant correlation was found between nm23-H1 low-expression and lymph node metastasis (P<0.05). No significant correlation was found between expression of nm23H1 and type - collagen. Meanwhile, a significant correlation was found between p53, PCNA overexpression and the depth of invasion and lymph node metastasis (P<0.05). ......
