Abstract
AIM To explore the relationship between monoconjugated bilirubin with the cholesterol nucleation.
METHODS Seventy-six gallbladder bile samples (38 cases with cholesterol stones, 20 with pigment stones and 18 without gallstones) were collected, three aliquots of each bile sample were set up as groups A,B and C. Equal amounts of aqueous buffer solution, 279μmol/L and 558μmol/L monoconjugated bilirubin solution for the three groups respectively were added.
