    Effect of antineoplastic agent Huisheng oral liquid on human IL-2 level and activity of LAK cells

    Abstract

    AIM To investigate the effect of Huisheng oral liquid containing antineoplastic agent on human IL-2 level and the lethal

    sensitivity to LAK cells.

    METHODS PBMC isolated from the peripheral venous blood of healthy blood donors were mixed with Huisheng oral liquid of various concentrations in the existence of PHA and IL-2 levels were detected by MTT method using CTLL-2 cell as the tested cells. SMMC-7721 cells and Hela cells treated with Huisheng oral liquid of different concentrations were incubated with prepared LAK cells for 20 hours. The lethal sensitivity of the both cells to LAK cell were tested by LDH release method. ......
