    Abstract

    AIM To study the preventive effect of Sanjia Yigan granule in experimental hepatofibrosis in rats.

    METHODS The experimental hepatofibrosis rats produced by CCl₄ were treated with Sanjia Yigan granuleig, and the results were compared with control groups prevented with hepatocyte growth-promoting factors (pHGF) and Dahuang Zhechong pills. The serum hepatofibrosis indexes, hyaluronic acid (HA), collagen Ⅳ (Ⅳ-C) and laminin (LN) were measured with radioimmunoassay, and the liver pathological changes were observed in each group of rats.
