    Apoptosis: a study on mechanism of injuries in human hepatocyte induced by mitomycin

    Abstract

    AIM To investigate whether apoptosis can be induced by mitomycin in primarily cultured human hepatocyte.

    METHODS Primarily cultured human hepatocytes were exposed to mitomycin. Apoptosis was evaluated by fluorescent stain, terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated-dUTP-nick-end-labeling (TUNEL), agarose gel electrophoresis, transmission electron microscopy and flow cytometry (FCM). ......
