Abstract
AIM To review evolution of gastrointestinal (GI) imageology in China for the past 50 years.
METHODS Evolution of GI imageology equipment and techniques of imaging, original articles of GI imageology published in Chinese Journal of Radiology (CJR), books of GI imageology in China, achievements winning academic award of scientific and technological progress by Ministry of Health and Nation from October 1949 to October 1999 were reviewed. ......
