Successive observation of laminin and collagen Ⅳ on hepatic sinusoid during the formation of the liver fibrosis in rats

Abstract
AIM To investigate the variations of LN and Col Ⅳ in perisinusoids during the formation of liver fibrosis in rats.
METHODS Liver fibrosis was induced in rats after administration of dimethylnitrosamine (DMN) intraperitoneally three times a week for 4 weeks. The animals were killed on day 2 and weeks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 12 and 24. Immunohistochemistry for LN and Col Ⅳ was used to outline the formation of basement membrane on hepatic sinusoids. ......
