【摘要】 目的 了解孝感市艾滋病流行特征及趋势，并提出相应的控制措施。方法 整理分析孝感市1999～2004年5月的艾滋病专项调查资料和常规监测资料。结果 孝感市主要通过被动检查发现艾滋病;感染人数快速增长;艾滋病已开始向一般人群扩散;艾滋病感染者主要以青壮年、农民为主;主要感染途径为经血途径感染，占73.33%，其中静脉吸毒占13.53%，有偿献血占20.00%，受血占36.67%;经性途径感染开始在孝感市被发现;病死率66.67%。结论 孝感市正处于防制艾滋病的关健时期，应立即采取有效的防制措施，控制艾滋病的蔓延。
