【Abstract】 Objective To assess the role of nutritional support in the treatment of tuberculous pleurisy.Methods Sixty cases of patients with tuberculous pleurisy were treated with anti-tuberculosis，anti-infection and the puncture of thoracic cavity taking out liquid skill in combination with nutritional support according to the situation of illness.Results After the treatment hemoglobin，ablumin and weightwere remarkably higher than that at the beginˉning of hospitalization(P<0.05or P<0.01)，and clinical manifestations were abated and lessons in the pleural efˉfusion were lessened or absorbed. Conclusion Nutritional support can improve the nutritional situation of the paˉtients and increase the cure rate of tuberculous pleurisy.
