    【Abstract】 Objective To observe the effects and safety of saline-irrigated electrode in the treatment of paroxˉysmal atrial fibrillation(PAF).Methods 4patients suffered PAF received radiofrequency ablation with saline-irrigated electrode，and their muscular sleeves of large veins were electro-isolated empirically.Results 14pulmonary veins and2superior vena cava were successfully electro-isolated，and immediate success was also observed while no any complicaˉtion occured.Conclusion Electro-isolating large veins for PAF with saline-irrigated electrode is effective and safe.
