【摘要】 目的 评价万州区1957～1999年麻风防治效果，探讨麻风流行规律。方法 利用万州区历年麻风病防治资料，根据所采取防治措施的不同，将整个防治过程分为防治早期(1957～1981年)、防治中期(1982～1987年)、防治后期(1988～1999年)三个时期进行防治效果评价。结果 43年共发现麻风130例，治疗128例，治愈103例。年均发现率、发病率防治早期分别为0.24/10万、0.27/10万，防治中期分别为0.29/10万、0.14/10万，防治后期分别为0.14/10万、0.088/10万;防治早、中、后期期末患病率依次为0.037‰、0.02‰、0.003‰。结论 万州区麻风防治经过43年的努力，已达到基本消灭麻风病标准，以联合化疗为主的综合防治措施能有效控制麻风传播与流行。
