【摘要】 目的 为了解江西美佛儿国际学校中小学生新生的生长发育情况。 方法 2004年9月，对中小学生的身高和体重进行了测定，测定总人数为1283人，其中男生999人，女生284人。采用杠杆式体重计，对身高和体重分别进行了测量，测量前纠正零点，每天测量时间为上午10点开始，并由专人负责。并与1992年全国营养调查城区各年龄组身高和体重为标准进行了比较。 结果 显示美佛儿国际学校新生身高和体重均达到了标准，有的年龄组上述指标还超过了1992年调查结果。此外，还对身高别体重与1985年九市调查结果进行了比较，结果亦显示身高别体重均优于1985年九市调查身高别体重，另一方面我们还对中小学生生长发育的等级情况进行了分析，结果提示绝大多数学生处于中等发育水平。 结论 初步认为江西美佛儿国际学校中小学生生长发育状况是正常的，基本上处于常态分布。
