【摘要】 目的 通过以科学证据为基础的临床实践，寻找整合病人主、客观资料与科学研究的证据的护理新理论。它既是服务对象的需求，又是护理学发展的必然。方法 以有价值的、可信的科学研究结果为证据，提出问题，寻找实证，用实证对病人实施最佳护理。结果 通过权威资料来源收集实证资料，寻找最佳护理行为，再用批判性眼光来评价它能否取得最佳成效，或是否需要进一步开展研究。如此循环，不断上升，达到持续改进护理质量。结论 循证护理能提高护理实践的科学性，并促进护理理论的发展，指导护理实践，通过实践验证过程，对建立护理学科的科学性和提高护理服务的有效性有着积极的促进作用。
