     Effects of acupuncture on nailfold microcirculation in patients with sudden deafness

    【Abstract】 AIM: To observe the effects of acupuncture on clinical symptoms and nailfold microcirculation of patients with sudden deafness. METHODS: Matched control of patients themselves was conducted and nailfold microcirculation before and after acupuncture was recorded. RESULTS: The clinical symptoms after treatment of acupuncture were ameliorated and nailfold microcirculation after acupuncture was remarkably improved (P<0.05). CONCLUSION: Acupuncture can ameliorate the clinical symptoms and improve nailflod microcirculation, indicating that the mechanism of acupuncture may be related with the amelioration of the peripheral circulation. ......
