DangGuiBuXue Decoction in inhibiting proliferation of human liver cancer SMMCª²7721 cells in vitro

    ¡¾Abstract¡¿ AIM: To observe the effects of the serum of DangGuiBuXue Decoction (DGBXD) on the proliferation of SMMCª²7721. METHODS: 25 rabbits were divided into 5 groups at random and the rabbits¬ð sera of different time points were collected after ig 50 mL of Naltrii chlorcid (9 g¡¤L-1) or DGBXD with the dosage of 32 g, 16, 8, 4 g¡¤kg-1. The culture medium of human heptocarinoma cell lines of SMMCª²7721 was treated by the rabbits¬ð sera. Effects of the sera on inhabiting proliferation of SMMCª²7721 were detected by MTT assay. RESULTS: The sera of DGBXD ig inhibited the proliferation of SMMCª²7721 doseª² and timeª²dependent manner. Tmax was 45min after ig and the maximum effects of BGBXD was 0.46¡À0.05 (32 g¡¤kg-1, P<0.01), 0.53¡À0.06 (16 g¡¤kg-1, P<0.01), 0.55¡À0.04 (8 g¡¤kg-1, P<0.05), 0.61¡À0.03 (4 g¡¤kg-1, P>0.05) vs control. ED50 was 122 g¡¤kg-1 and T1/2 was 2.2 h. CONCLUSION: The sera of DangGuiBuXue Decoction can inhibit the proliferation of human liver cancer SMMCª²7721 in a doseª² and timeª²dependent manner. ......
