Abstract
AIM: To investigate the effects of Nimesuli, a selective cyclooxygenase inhibitor, on the invasion of human hepatocelluar carcinoma cell line SMMC-7721 and its mechanism.
METHODS:Human hepatocelluar carcinoma cell line SMMC-7721 was divided into control (C) and Nimesuli (N) group. The cells in group N were treated with Nimesuli (25, 50, 100, 200, 400 μmol/L) and those in group C were treated with dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO). MTT reduction assay was used to evaluate the inhibitory rate, and Transwell chamber assay was performed to determine the effect of Nimesuli on the invasion of SMMC-7721 cells ......
