     Adhesion rabbit bone marrow stromal cells to cementum slices in vitro

    【Abstract】 AIM: To investigate growth of rabbit bone marrow stromal cells (BMSC) adhesion to the cementum slices in vitro. METHODS: BMSC of rabbits were isolated and cultured in vitro and then cocultured with the cementum slices. Cell adhesion at different times was analyzed by reverse phase difference microscope and scanning electro microscope. RESULTS: BMSC were well adhered to the cementum slices and the cells on the cementum slices exhibited a cementumlike and mineralized appearance. CONCLUSION: BMSC can well adhere to and proliferate on the cementum slices and they can form a new type of mineralized tissue.
