【Abstract】 AIM: To investigate the effects of torque force load on the stress distribution in implantbone interface, so as to help the clinical selection of implant location. METHODS: Threedimension finite element analysis method was used to calculate and analyze the stress and displacement in implantbone interface, and a torque force of 1.47 N, with the moment of couple of 5 mm, was applied on the abutment 7 mm distant from implant neck. RESULTS: When torque force loads were applied, the peak values of VonMises stress on buccal side, lingual side and mesiodistal side of the implant neck were 0.624, 0.652, and 0.603 MPa, respectively, and the peak values of displacement were 0.066, 0.059 and 0.063 μm, respectively. CONCLUSION: The choice of buccal or lingual implant embedment depends on the form of orthodontic load, so as to avoid the pathological damage of bone tissue in implantbone interface caused by stress over concentration. ......
