【Abstact】AIM: To study the efficacy of antitumor immunity both in vivo and in vitro with B7.1 gene induced into murine hepa16 hepatocellular carcinoma cells. METHODS : pLXSN B7.1 was transfected into packaging cell line PA317 by liposome induction and high titer positive clone was acquired by G418. The expression of B7.1 molecules was detected by FACS. Antitumor immunity in vivo and in vitro was observed following transfection of B7.1 gene into Hepa 16 cell line, which acted as a tumor vaccine. RESULTS: B7.1 molecules were highly expressed in Hepa 16/B7.1, with decreased tumor induction and protective immunity effect. CONCLUSION: Hepa16 hepatocellular carcinoma cells transfected with B7.1 genes as a kind of tumor vaccine can effectively trigger the host antitumor immunity. ......
