     Effect of 0.2 T constant magnetic fields on wound healing in rabbits

    【Abstract】 AIM: To investigate the effects of 0.2 T constant magnetic fields on wound healing in rabbits. METHODS: Thirty white big ear rabbits were randomly divided into two groups. The same wound models were made on the back of each rabbit in both magnetic group and control group. Each rabbit in magnetic group was bound up with 0.2 T magnetic flakes, while that in the control group was bound up with blank bandage. The whole process was completed in the Research Center of Laboratory Animals of the 4th Military Medical University. After 10 d, the examinations of anatomy and pathology were performed. RESULTS: Rabbits in the magnetic group showed better healing of sutured wound than the controls. The scar adhesion was much less in the magnetic group than in control group(P<0.05). CONCLUSION: The constant magnetic fields can promote the wound healing and restrain the scar adhesion. ......
