    棕榈的综合利用和开发

    摘 要 棕榈[ Trachycarpus fortunei (Hook. ) H. Wendl . ]是中国最普遍、应用最广的棕榈科植物之一 ,也是能够广泛

    地生长在亚热带和温带最耐寒的棕榈科植物。在中国棕榈是重要的经济植物 ,棕榈的每一部分都能利用 ,新鲜花

    可以吃 ,种子用作饲料 ,树干能建房。近来研究表明 ,棕榈的种子、叶、茎、根、花中含多种化学成分 ,作者及合作者

    已经开发出止血药“血安”和植物蜡。棕榈仍然具有很大潜力 ,棕榈种子和叶中含有多酚、黄酮、甾体皂苷等生物活

    性成分 ,有可能开发出治疗心血管病和肿瘤的药物。

    The Many Uses and Exploitation of Trachycarpus fortunei

    Abstract One of the most useful and widely grown palms in China is the windmill palm ,Trachycarpus fo2

    tunei . The windmill palm ,one of the hardiest of all palms ,can be grown widely in subtropical and warm - tem 2

    perate regions. Except as an ornamental plant ,the windmill palm is olso important economic plant . It appears

    that virtually every part of this palm has been used for one purpose or another by the Chinese. The fresh flow 2

    ers ,for example ,are eaten ,and the seeds are used as animal fodder. The trunks are used as house pillars. Re 2

    cently research on this palm shown that its seeds ,leaves ,stems ,roots and flowers cantain many chemical com 2

    ponents. Author and cooperative scientists have exploitated the haemostatic drug “Xuean”and plant wax. The

    windmill palm has great potentialities ,polyphenols ,flavonoids and steroidal saponin from the seeds and leaves

    might be exploitated medicinal drugs of curing heart and vascular diseases and tumor.

    棕榈[ Trachycarpus fortunei (Hook. ) H. Wendl . ]是

    中国最普遍的土生土长的棕榈科植物 ,它原产中国

    中南部山地 ,是最耐寒的棕榈 ,除中国以外 ,日本也

    有分布 ,现在世界上许多国家已有引种 ,在操英语国

    家称其为风车棕榈(windmill palm) 。棕榈科很多植

    物是热带最具代表的树种 ,中国南部边缘地带属热

    带地区 ,生长着多种棕榈科植物 ,海南岛海边的椰

    树 ,在微风吹拂下 ,摇摆着婀娜多姿的身影 ,一派热

    带风光 ,但那只是南国人才能欣赏到的棕榈科植物。

    对于生长在长江流域的人们 ,棕榈才是他们常见美

    丽风景。

    1 棕榈植物分类和分布

    棕榈科棕榈属有 8 个种 ,主要分布在喜玛拉雅

    和东 亚。棕 榈 [ Trachycarpus fortunei ( Hook. ) H.

    Wendl . ]常绿乔木 ,单干直立 ,高可达9～10 m。叶簇

    生于顶端 ,叶长叶柄向四面张开 ,或垂下 ,叶柄的基

    部生棕色纤维。花单性 ,雌雄异株 ,淡黄色。果近圆

    形 ,径约1 cm左右 ,成熟时紫黑色。棕榈分布在中

    国长江以南各省区 ,罕见野生疏林中 ,海拔上限

    2 000 m左右 ,通常仅见栽培四旁;长江以北地区也
