【Abstract】 AIM: To further optimize and improve upon our MIT experiment system and explore specific electromagnetic relations of our experiment system. METHODS: Based on electromagnetic induction theory and ideal physical model of our single measurement channel of MIT, we deduced electromagnetic relations of the system. RESULTS: Current phase and magnitude in the receiving coil were related to the conductivity of objects. The phase shifts and magnitude changes of the receiving coil current were calculated when the object conductivity was set for five sorts of normal brain tissues and brain edema. CONCLUSION: To improve the performance of MIT measurement system, we should use higher exciting frequency, accurately acquire phase shift between reference and receiving coils and choose phase sensitive detector of high performance. ......
