【Abstract】 AIM: To analyze the signal joint T cell receptor rearrangement excision circles(sjTRECs)levels of murine thymocytes and spleen lymphocytes in the process of maturation and to evaluate the amount of nave T cell and thymic function. METHODS: sjTRECs levels were determined by the real time quantitative PCR (SYBR Green). RESULTS: The amount of nave T cells in thymus increased from the age of 1 wk to 6 wk, but at the age of 9 and 12 wk, it began to decrease. The amount of nave T cells increased continually in the spleen from the age of 1 wk to 12 wk. CONCLUSION: In the process of murine maturation, the T cell synthesis function of thymus begins to weaken at 9 wk. The thymic output function is continually enhanced at the maturation process. Realtime PCR is successfully developed and utilized in analyzing the sjTRECs levels and thymic function. ......
