     Qualitative and quantitative analysis of sodium 7,4′bihydroxylisoflavone3′sulfonate

    【Abstract】 AIM: To establish qualitative and quantitative analysis methods of 7, 4′bihydroxylisoflavone3′sulfonate. METHODS: Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and fluorescence spectrum were used to analyze sodium 7, 4′dihydroxylisoflavone3′sulfonate. RESULTS: The 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectra of the title compound were reported for the first time. The new method of determination of sodium 7, 4′bihydroxylisoflavone3′sulfonate was established. Sodium 7, 4′bihydroxylisoflavone3′sulfonate had a strong fluorescence on the solution (pH = 9.00±0.02) with the max wavelength of λ = 310 nm and λ = 480 nm. The linear range and the detection limit of the method were 0-3.5 mg/L (r=0.9995) and 30 μg/L, respectively. The 1H NMR, 13C NMR and fluorescence spectrum offered a foundation for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of sodium 7, 4′bihydroxylisoflavone3′sulfonate. CONCLUSION: The 1H NMR and 13C NMR method, precise and economical using D2O as solvent, can be used to analyze sodium 7, 4′bihydroxylisoflavone3′sulfonate qualitatively and the method is economic. The fluorescence method, specific, simple, precise and sensitive, can be used to analyze the title compound quantitatively. ......
