Vasobral therapy for 56 patients with migraine

    ¡¾Abstract¡¿ AIM: To evaluate the therapeutic effect of Vasobral on patients with migraine. METHODS: Fiftyª²six migraine patients received Vasobral treatment for 16 weeks. The curative effect was evaluated at 8 weeks and 16 weeks. The indices revealing the migraine degree, month occurrence of migraine and term of migraine happening were analyzed before and after treatment. And the adverse reaction was observed. RESULTS: There was a significant (P <0.05) reduction in the degree of migraine at 4 months compared with pretreatment. At the same time, the indexes of migraine in male and female patients reduced both significantly (P <0.05), and the term of migraine happening decreased only at 4 months (P <0.05). Fifteen patients reported mild adverse reaction during the treatment. CONCLUSION: Vasobral can reduce the clinical signs of migraine. The efficacy will get more and more significant with the prolongation of the treatment course. ......
