     Allosteric communication network of coupling residues in GPCR class A rhodopsin like family

    【Abstract】 AIM: To predict the allosteric communication network formed by a set of amino acids coupled with Leu125 in G protein coupled receptor (GPCR) class A rhodopsin like family. METHODS: Based on the multiple sequence alignment (MSA) of class A GPCR, we used statistical coupling analysis to obtain the statistical energy of amino acid positions in the multiple sequence alignment. We then extracted the subalignment containing only isoleucine at Leu125 and calculated the statistical coupling energy between each position and Leu125. RESULTS: Based on the statistical coupling energy, we figured out the amino acids positions coupled with Leu125. CONCLUSION: These amino acid positions, verified by some studies to be important positions in class A GPCR, constitute an allosteric communication network in GPCR class A rhodopsin like family. ......
