【Abstract】 AIM: To predict the allosteric communication network formed by a set of amino acids coupled with Leu125 in G protein coupled receptor (GPCR) class A rhodopsin like family. METHODS: Based on the multiple sequence alignment (MSA) of class A GPCR, we used statistical coupling analysis to obtain the statistical energy of amino acid positions in the multiple sequence alignment. We then extracted the subalignment containing only isoleucine at Leu125 and calculated the statistical coupling energy between each position and Leu125. RESULTS: Based on the statistical coupling energy, we figured out the amino acids positions coupled with Leu125. CONCLUSION: These amino acid positions, verified by some studies to be important positions in class A GPCR, constitute an allosteric communication network in GPCR class A rhodopsin like family. ......
