Dualª²wavelength ratio spectrophotometry for determination of procaine hydrochloride and vitamin B6 in compound Yikangning tablets

    ¡¾Abstract¡¿ AIM: To establish dual-wavelength ratio spectrophotometry for determination of procaine hydrochloride and vitamin B6 in compound Yikangning tablets. METHODS: The ratio spectra was determined and the wavelength pair were selected at the peak point or valley point of ratio spectra , to eliminate the interference of other components. RESULTS: Linearity between the absorbance and concentration of procaine hydrochloride and vitamin B6 was obtained in the range of 5.0-50.0 mg/L under the optimum conditions . The average recoveries and relative standard deviations(RSD) of procaine hydrochloride and vitamin B6 were 99.5%, 1.2% and 98.3%, 0.8%, respectively. CONCLUSION: The method was simple , rapid and reproducible , the interference of two components on each other may be eliminated and the results were satisfactory. ......
