【Abstract】 AIM : To evaluate the influence of pumpless arteriovenous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (AV ECMO) on the haemodynamics in dogs. METHODS: The changes of blood gas in right atrium blood and aortic blood at different times were observed in dogs. The heart rate, rhythm of heart, arterial pressure, cardiac output, left ventricular pressure, right ventricular pressure and pulmonary pressure were also measured at different times. RESULTS: The heart rate, rhythm of heart (166±15) times/min, arterial pressure(118.8±21.1) mmHg, cardiac output (3.5±0.8) L/min, left ventricular pressure (136.5±13.6) mmHg, right ventricular pressure (28.1±3.4) mmHg and pulmonary pressure (25.5±5.5) mmHg fluctuated a little, but their values were within the normal range during the bilateral femoral AV ECMO. CONCLUSION: The hemodynamics in experimental animals is stable during the bilateral femoral AV ECMO. ......
