    Abstract:Transthoracic Doppler echocardiography was per-formed in68consecutive patients with right ventricular in-farction treated with thrombolysis.The bedside examination was performed before and at2to3h after thrombolysis re-spectively，and a subsequent follow-up examination was scheduled10d later.Significant differences were found in echocardiographic findings after the thrombolytic therapy.The presence of a severe tricuspid regurgitation and of an ab-normal septal motion in patients with acute myocardial infrac-tion indicates involvement of the right ventricle.The echocardiographic findings are helpful for examining the ef-fect of thromolytic therapy on RV dysfunction.
