【Abstract】 AIM: To construct NDRG family bait vectors in yeast twohybrid system and to detect their selfactivation in this system. METHODS: Fulllength cDNA of NDRG family members were obtained by PCR and the fragments of NDRG family members were inserted into PGBKT7 vector according to the reading frame. The bait vectors were transformed into the yeast strain AH109 by PEG/LiAc method and their selfactivation was tested by both the phenotype assay and the color assay. RESULTS: The bait vectors of NDRG family members were constructed correctly and their expressions in yeast were verified. Except for NDRG4B, the other NDRG family members could not activate the reporter gene. CONCLUSION: Apart from NDRG4B, NDRG1, 2 and 3 all can act as baits in the screening of cDNA library to trap the interaction proteins by using yeast two hybrid. ......
