【摘 要】 目的 对1999～2003年蚌埠市市区居民恶性肿瘤死亡状况进行分析，为制定恶性肿瘤的科学防治措施提供决策依据。 方法 对收集的恶性肿瘤死因资料根据国际分类编码进行汇总分析。 结果 1999～2003年蚌埠市市区居民恶性肿瘤平均死亡率为112.97/10万，男性较女性死亡率高，性别比值为1.73。恶性肿瘤位居全死因首位，前3位恶性肿瘤死因顺次依次为肺癌、肝癌和胃癌。占癌症死亡总数的64.20%，乳腺癌位居女性死因的第4位。 结论 恶性肿瘤严重影响着人民的身体健康，已经成为本地区重要的公共卫生问题，应给予更多的关注。
