Clinical study of efficacy and safety of diclofenac sodium/lidocaine hydrochloride injection in treatment of knee osteoarthritis

    ¡¾Abstract¡¿ AIM: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of diclofenac sodium/lidocaine hydrochloride injection in treating knee osteoarthritis. METHODS: A double blind, randomized, paralleled and controlled multiª²center study was conducted. Sixtyª²four subjects were included in the experimental group, who received intramuscular injection of 2 mL diclofenac sodium/lidocainehydrochloride injection every day. In the control group, 63 subjects were given intramuscular injection of 2 mL olfenª²75 every day. The course of treatment in both groups was 7 d. RESULTS: The overall clinical efficacy rates in the two groups were 89.85% and 92.54%, respectively. The adverse drug reaction rate in the control group was 1.49%. No adverse drug reaction was found in the experimental group. There was no statistical difference in clinical efficacy and adverse drug reaction rate between the two groups. CONCLUSION: Diclofenac sodium/lidocaine hydrochloride injection is effective and safe for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. ......
