【摘要】 目的 通过8-4-1在产程中的严密监测和积极处理，加强医务人员的责任心，提高产科质量，减少母婴并发症发生，保障母婴安全。 方法 采用回顾性分析方法，将2001年1月～2004年12月共2400例头位初产妇分两组，即实行8-4-1组和未实行8-4-1组作为观察组和对照组。 结果 实行8-4-1原则，缩短了产程，明显减少了产后出血、产褥感染、新生儿窒息等的发生。结论 严格掌握8-4-1原则，是保障母婴健康的法宝，是提高产科质量信心的保证。
