【摘要】 目的 为降低机械通气患者的焦虑程度及缓解身心疾病，促进其自身权利和信心的恢复。 方法 2005年1～8月，根据机械通气患者的特点及ICU的特殊氛围对患者的影响，针对性地对64例ICU机械通气患者进行多元文化护理。 结果 64例患者经过多元文化护理后焦虑减轻，缩短了机械通气时间。 结论 多元文化护理能改善机械通气患者心理状态，增强患者自信心，缩短机械通气时间。

    【Abstract】 Objective To reduce anxiety and relieve physio-psycho-disease of ICU patients receiving mechanical ventilation and promote their recover of right and confidence. Method Carrying out multi-culture nursing, and 64 mechanically ventilated patients were chosen to be looked after from Jan to Aug 2005. Results The anxiety of 64 patients were reduced, their mean time of ventilation was shortened as well. Conclusion Multi-culture nursing can better the mechanically ventilated patients’ psychology, enhance their confidence and shorten the mechanical ventilation time.
