Abstract: As more and more original materials from U.S.A. and U.K. have been adopted into the text books of College English , some lengthy and difficult sentences have given rise to the illegibility of comprehension in the teaching of English. The paper aims to solve this problem by the "Approach of Stratum Analysis".
