Determination of scutellarin in Erigeron breviscapus from different places by HPLCLIU Peng, ZHOU Jun, QIN XiangYang, WANG QiaoFeng, LI XiaoYe

【Abstract】 AIM: To develop a HPLC method to determinate the proportion of scutellarin in Erigeron breviscapus from different places of production. METHODS: The analytical column was a ZODBAXC18 (4.6 mm×150 mm) filled with a 5 μm stationary phase. The mobile phase consisted of methanol(0.02 mol/L) phosphate buffer solution [pH 5.2 (35∶65)]. The flowrate was 0.8 mL/min. The injection volume was 20 μL. The Detector was set at 335 nm. The column temperature was 25℃. RESULTS: The calibration curve was linear over the range of 0.74-3.70 μg (r=0.999 6). The average recovery of the method was 97.24%, RSD 0.82% (n=6). CONCLUSION: The proposed method would be used in quantitative analysis of scutellarin in Erigeron breviscapus. The method is convenient, economical and accurate with good reproducibility. ......
