Examine the Level of Antinucleosome Antibody in Blood Serum in the Diagnostics of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus and The Research when on Lapsed Status

Abstract:Objective Examine the level of Antinucleosome antibody (AnuA) in blood serum to discover the value in the diagnostics of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) and compare the results from before and after treatments respectively.Methods Enzymelinked immunosorbant assay (ELISA) was introduced to test the level of AnuA in serum from 62 samples of SLE,52 samples of Subacute Cutaneous Lupus Erythematosus (SCLE),10 samples of Dermatomyositis and 30 healthy samples,respectively.In order to determine and grade the criterion of state of illness,the Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Activity Index (SLEDAI) has been adopted.Results The levels of AnuA in serum from the SLE samples were significantly higher than that from the samples of which SCLE,dermatomyositis patients and healthy specimens (P<0.01).The levels of AnuA in serum from the active SLE samples,that are much higher than that from the samples with SLE inactively (P<0.01),have statistic significance in the difference comparing with the dermatomyositis samples and the healthy ones (P<0.05).The difference between the results from dermatomyositis and healthy samples has notgot any statistic significance (P>0.05).There is apparent pertinence between the levels of AnuA and SLEDAI (P=0.015,r=0.441).The levels of AnuA in serum remarkably reduced when the treatments had been given to SLE patients comparing with which that without any treatments (P<0.05).Conclusion The levels of AnuA is valid to help to diagnose the SLE,monitor the disease and estimate the curative effect. ......
