    Analysis and countermeasures of misdiagnosis on cell morphology of bone marrow smear

    [Abstract] Objective To analyze the results of misdiagnosis to enhance the whole level of external quality assessment(EQA)for cell morphology of bone narrow smear.Methods The bone marrow smears of confirmed diagnosis with clinic information and other laboratory reports were periodically distributed to the participating EQA units to conduct EQA for cell morphology of bone marrow smear.Results Poor morphology distinguishing faculty conduced to the misdiagnosis of acute myelomonocytic leukemia(AMML)and acute granulocytic leukemia(AGL)with maturation;rare disease category conduced to the misdiagnosis of multiple myeloma(MM)with chronic neutrophilic leukemia(CNL)and erythremia period of erythroleukemia;not all-round of comprehensive analysis conduced to chronic lymphocytic leukemia with prolympho-cytosis(CLL/PL)，infectious myelogram;and the new proceeding of the subject being not timely understood conduced to the misdiagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia(AML)with displasia;the diagnostic standard of hematologic disease being not perfected conduced to the misdiagnosis of CLL ......
