摘要:目的 了解海南省城乡居民的健康状况和主要疾病死亡原因，为政府部门制定卫生规划和疾病预防控制提供科学的依据。 方法 用描述流行病学方法对海南省海口市和文昌市两个国家疾病监测点2000～2004年居民死因资料进行分析。 结果 2000～2004年两个疾病监测点年均死亡率309.07/10万，男性年均死亡率174.38/10万，女性年均死亡率134.69/10万，城市年均死亡率223.45/10万，农村年均死亡率514.85/10万。居民主要死因标化死亡率前五位依次为:心血管病(420.00/10万)、肿瘤(335.70/10万)、脑血管病(197.69/10万)、意外死亡(135.77/10万)和呼吸系统疾病(999.96/10万)。 结论 2000～2004年海南省城乡居民的主要死亡原因是心血管病、肿瘤、脑血管病、意外死亡和呼吸系统疾病，传染病是重要的死亡原因之一。
