[摘要]目的 提高非英语专业大学生英语应用能力。方法 在教学中采用输入与输出紧密结合的教学模式—— —以读促写，以写固读，学、习并进。结果 学生的英语应用能力有了明显的提高。结论 以读促写，以写固读，学、习并进的教学模式能有效促进学生英语应用能力的提高。

    [ABSTRACT]ObjectiveTo effectively develop the communicative competence of non-English-major college students. MethodsComprehensible input was integrated with output. Reading was applied to promote writing， and writing to promote rea-ding. ResultsThe communicative competence of the students improved noticeably. ConclusionThis new teaching method can be employed to enhance students' English communicative competence.
