Effect of injecting triamcinolone acetonide and lidocaine to lumbar facet joint under the guidance of Cª²Arm Xª²ray medical equipment in the treatment of lumbar facet osteoarthritis

    ¡¾Abstract¡¿AIM: To evaluate the effect of injecting triamcinolone acetonide and lidocaine to lumbar facet joint under the guidance of Cª²Arm Xª²ray medical equipment in the treatment of lumbar facet osteoarthritis. METHODS: The cases of lumbar facet osteoarthritis (n=120) were randomly divided into 2 groups, experimental group (n=60) treated with local injection under the guidance of Cª²Arm Xª²ray medical equipment and control group (n=60) with oral administration of ibuprofen. The curative effects were evaluated by visual analogy scale (VAS) for pain and Motion Function Scale. RESULTS: The total effective rate was 82.69% in experimental group and 58.14% in control group. The former was signicantly better than the latter (P<0.05). CONCLUSION: Injecting triamcinolone acetonide and lidocaine to lumbar facet joint under the guidance of Cª²Arm Xª²medical equipment can relieve the pain of lumbar facet osteoarthritis,and improve the lumbar motion. It is more effective than oral ibuprofen for the treatment of lumbar facet osteoarthritis. ......
