药店不能销售流感疫苗

     店员：您好，欢迎光临。

    Shop assistant: Hello! Welcome!

    顾客：您好，请问咱们药店有流感疫苗吗？

    Potential customer: Hello，do you have avaccine for influenza？

    店员：对不起，药店里不能销售这种药。

    Shop assistant: I''m sorry, but we can''t sell such vaccines in drugstores.

    顾客：那我只能到医院去问了？

    Potential customer: Which means I''l lhave to go to a hospital？

    店员：是的。

    Shop assistant: Yes.

    顾客：那我向您咨询一下有关疫苗的事情行吗？

    Potential customer: Can I ask you something about vaccines？

    店员：当然可以。

    Shop assistant: By all means!

    顾客：注射完流感疫苗就能避免感冒了吗？

    Potential customer: Will I become immune to an influenza attack ifI take avaccine shot？

    店员：不是这样的。注射流感疫苗可以预防流行性感冒病毒，但不能防止普通感冒的发生，只能起到缓解普通感冒症状、缩短感冒周期等作用。而且，即使注射了流感疫苗，也要在半个月之后才能产生抗体，达到预防的目的。

    Shop assistant: It doesn''t work that way. Anti-influenza vaccinescan only protect you from some influenza viruses but can''t save you fromcommon cold. They can lessen the intensity of the attack and shorten thecycle of common cold, though. Moreover, you will develop immunity to anattack only 15 daysa fter taking a preventive vaccine.

    顾客：那是不是感冒时就不能注射流感疫苗了呢？

    Potential customer: Can''t I take a vaccine shot when I have a cold？

    店员：据我所知是这样的。流感疫苗一定要提前注射，否则达不到效果。

    Shop assistant: No, as far as I know a vaccine has to be taken in advance, otherwise it''s not so effective.

    顾客：谢谢您的讲解，我这就去医院问问。

    Potential customer: Thank you. I''ll go to a hospital for more information!
