[摘要]种子种苗是中药材生产的物质基础，建设中药材种子种苗繁育基地有利于保障优质中药材的生产。中药材种子种苗繁育基地建设是全国中药资源普查试点工作的重点任务之一，文章阐述了基于中药资源普查试点工作建设的中药材种子种苗繁育基地建设目标与建设任务，并介绍了繁育基地在硬件建设、种质保存与繁育、标准规程制定、社会化服务等方面的建设进展，提出了繁育基地下一步发展的重点措施：完善、提升标准草案水平；保持并强化繁育功能；加强多层次人才培养；探索市场化发展模式；多方联合，深化服务与发展。
