全麻复合硬膜外麻醉影响红细胞免疫功能较小，可能与患者神经内分泌系统对红细胞免疫功能的调控有关。人红细胞膜上存在P-内啡肽受体，P-内啡肽对红细胞免疫功能有双重调节作用，即EIF随P-内啡肽的增加而增强，但超过一定范围，则随P-内啡肽含量的增加EIF反而降低。麻醉过程可通过P-内啡肽调节作用影响红细胞免疫功能[9]，但影响的具体过程尚不清楚。
