    【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the role of Wilms' tumor 1-associating protein (WTAP) in lipopolysaccharide (LPS) induced ferroptosis in human renal tubular epithelial cells (HK-2) and its molecular mechanism. Methods Expression differences of WTAP and long chain acyl-CoA synthetase 4 (ACSL4) between acute kidney injury tissues and healthy control tissues were analyzed based on the GEO database. HK-2 cells were treated with 10μg/mL LPS,and cell viability, cell apoptosis, reactive oxygen species (ROS), glutathione (GSH) and Fe2+ contents were measured.
