【摘要】目的：通过统计信息资源，为医院科学决策提供依据。方法：回顾性分析，总结现代医院管理中统计工作对决策发挥的作用。 结果：运用统计信息，医院作出： ①增设临床二级分科，提高医院知名度。②医院实行成本核算和要素分配，增强医院活力。③创名科、建名院，增强医院实力。④医院购置医疗设备(CT)，提高医院竞争力。结论：统计信息的有效利用，为医院的决策奠定基础，加快了医院发展的步伐。【关键词】统计信息工作；决策；运用
